Grupo Aire strengthens its leadership position in the cloud market with the integration of Teradisk, a company specialising in managed services and cybersecurity

  • The Elche-based Group continues its organic and inorganic expansion process
  • This is the sixth addition in less than four years
  • The operation is backed by Ardian Buyout

Madrid, 22nd May, 2023 –

Grupo Aire announces the integration of Teradisk, a company specialising in managed services and cybersecurity based in Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona. With this new operation, the Group expands its cloud services portfolio in fields such as managed services, virtualisation and cybersecurity, and consolidates its leadership position in the cloud market.

The incorporation of Teradisk is part of Grupo Aire’s strategy of incorporating companies that enable it to strengthen its positioning and create synergies in its portfolio of solutions. In this case, Teradisk will strengthen the Group’s cloud and data centre division, Oasix, with its extensive experience in the comprehensive management of public, private and hybrid cloud services. In turn, it will complement the Group’s cybersecurity area with its specialised SOC and its extensive knowledge in the management and administration of cybersecurity, as well as its expertise in the administration of e-commerce systems for the main solutions on the market.

The deal was backed by Ardian Buyout and marks the sixth integration in less than four years following Unelink and Prored (2019), LCRcom (2020), Ar Telecom (2021) and Stackscale in 2022. Grupo Aire’s organic and inorganic growth in recent years has led it to increase its network to more than 33,000 kilometres on the Iberian Peninsula, create a pan-European network and increase its offering in the ICT cloud sector.

The human factor and innovation

Teradisk is a Spanish company created in 2015 specialising in solutions dedicated to managed services (monitoring, data and dashboards, backups and disaster recovery, availability and concurrency); cloud computing (architecture, consulting, private, public and hybrid cloud), cybersecurity and virtualisation systems, among others. It has more than 40 employees, who become part of Grupo Aire, and is characterised by a focus on the human factor and innovation, which has enabled it to offer customised, high quality solutions. Its customers are companies with cloud infrastructure needs, both public and private and security, as well as their administration. They are very focused on clients with e-commerce platforms due to their experience in infrastructure management.

The company has been recognised by the Ministry of Science and Innovation as an Innovative SME, which is awarded every year to small and medium-sized companies with an innovative character, and has different certifications and alliances, such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, Incibe (Security), AWS Partner, Google Cloud Partner and Shopware Partner, among others.

“This operation is great news that is part of our national and international growth strategy, which has been defined in recent years by the integration of companies that allow us to strengthen our commitment to our customers, offering increasingly complete and customised technological solutions”, says Raúl Aledo, CEO of Grupo Aire. “In addition, the incorporation of Teradisk allows us to enrich our product portfolio and strengthen both our strategic growth in the cloud world and our positioning in data centre and service management for our customers, in key technological fields for the coming years such as managed services, virtualisation and cybersecurity, which are a turning point in the business of companies around the world. In addition, the incorporation of its highly talented team is a guarantee of success and presents us with a promising future.

“From the beginning of Teradisk we were very clear that the differential factor to achieve success was to offer services with the highest possible quality and proximity oriented to the company, where normally a less personalised and specialised service is offered than the one we provide,” says David Aguilar, CEO of Teradisk. “We are delighted to join forces with Grupo Aire, enabling us to offer our managed and cyber security services to all types of businesses, and to help them grow in the international market. Thanks to Grupo Aire’s expanding infrastructure and the Private and Public cloud services already on offer, our clients will benefit from new services, end-to-end structures managed by us and, in short, they will make a qualitative leap at all levels, ensuring the “peace of mind as a service” that we have been offering. It could not be otherwise that for a challenge of this magnitude we could count on allies who share our same human values and technical excellence demonstrated throughout all these years”.
